OPERATION OBJECTIVE:
Promotion of products produced by the group of producers (brown flax, buckwheat, white buckwheat, golden flax, millet, young barley, buckwheat flour, ground flaxseed, angelica root, lovage root, and pig meat) and dissemination of knowledge about these products and the quality system under which they were produced (Organic Farming System and Quality Assured Food System (QAFP) – culinary pork).
PLANNED CAMPAIGN OUTCOMES:
Increasing the awareness of the products included in the operation description (brown flax, buckwheat, white buckwheat groats, golden flax, millet, young barley, buckwheat flour, ground flaxseed, angelica root, lovage root, and pigs) requires extensive promotional expenditures. Therefore, support for activities that reach consumers is essential. In Poland, awareness of the existence of EU quality systems, which produce high-quality products, remains low. As a result, demand for these products remains low. The information and promotional activities described in this operation description are aimed at consumers, particularly to familiarize them with the products indicated in the aid application and to draw attention to the specific characteristics of the products. Reaching consumers is aimed at increasing awareness of high-quality production and thus increasing demand for these products.
GOALS OF ORGANIC FARMING
Organic farming employs cultivation methods that aim to produce food using natural substances and processes. This means that organic farming has a lower environmental impact because it promotes:
- responsible use of energy and natural resources
- maintaining biodiversity
- improving soil fertility
- maintaining water quality
Furthermore, organic farming regulations encourage high animal welfare standards and require farmers to meet the specific behavioral needs of animals.
European Union regulations on organic farming aim to provide a clear structure for the production of organic goods across the EU. This aims to meet the demand for reliable organic products while ensuring a fair market for producers, distributors, and retailers.
For farmers to reap the benefits of organic farming methods, consumers must have confidence that farmers are complying with organic production regulations. Therefore, the EU maintains a rigorous system of inspections and enforcement to ensure the correct application of organic production rules and regulations. Because organic farming is part of a larger supply chain that includes food processing, distribution and retail, they are also subject to controls.

CERTIFIED WITH THE GUARANTEED FOOD QUALITY SYSTEM – QAFP
THE QUALITY ASSURANCE FOR FOOD PRODUCTS (QAFP) SYSTEM was developed in 2009 on the initiative of the Union of Producers and Employers of the Meat Industry, an organization of companies operating in the meat industry.
THE ASSUMPTIONS OF THE QAFP SYSTEM were developed by scientists from leading academic centers in Poland in cooperation with practitioners and experts from the meat industry.
On December 11, 2009, by decision of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the QAFP Quality Guaranteed Food System was recognized as a national food quality system. Since then, the network of QAFP System participants has been building.
From the outset, the QAFP SYSTEM has gained the support of consumer organizations and the recognition of leading experts and scientists in the Polish market. The long-term strategy for the System envisages its improvement and expansion to include additional products.
Quality in the QAFP system is shaped throughout the entire production process, “from farm to fork,” beginning with the selection of selected animal breeds, through production, packaging, and distribution. At each stage, participants in the system meet strict requirements, confirmed by inspection by an independent Certification Body.
